Continuous Cloud Backup?
Hi
I have been using TIH2020 for local backups only and a separate cloud backup service.
I am considering upgrading to a subscription of TIH2021 with Cloud storage.
My main requirement for using cloud storage is an always on backup by making using of the NSB function.
My questions are:
Is it possible to have an "always on" i.e NSB cloud backup and is it reliable?
Is there any indication on each file to show if it has been backed up or queued for backing up following an edit?
Can I force a "backup this file now" rather than wait x minutes?
When recovering multiple items are they downloaded individually or put in to a zip file?
I appreciate download speeds vary for everyone but what would be an average time to download say 10GB of indiviual files?
Thanks for any info and look forward to reading your replies.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for replying.
I activated the one month trial.
It allowed me to create an NSB task for files and folders with Acronis Cloud as the destination.
It has been cooking for a while now currently up to 4.87GB out of almost 900GB so it may take several hours if not days!
From what you have written I would have expected it not to allow NSB but perhaps Files and Folders is not "Disk Level".
I have never been able to to run an NSB task successfully to my local backup drive using my current TIH2020 runnning under a squeaky clean install of W10 2004 on a new NVME drive. Nor have I in earlier TIH versions in previous iterations of Windows. Maybe just my rotten luck or karma! :)
Im looking at ditching my current cloud backup service purely to save some money. The imminent renewal fee is rather off putting. However it has been faultless in operation. If Acronis Cloud proves to be unreliable over the next 30 days I wont bother with it and stick with what I have.
Cheers.

BR, you are correct that the user guide is specific about disk backups not being used with NSB to the Acronis Cloud, guess I didn't see that distinction at first!
I have never needed to use NSB so haven't used it other than doing some simple testing when dealing with topics in the forums.
I would expect that 30 days will tell you if it is reliable and meets your expectations!
