DemonData.swapFile's

Thread needs solution

I am having a problem with the DemonData.swapFile's not being automatically deleted and using up the entire free space on the C drive.  I deleted these files and then started the latest version of TrueImage 2021 and got an error message and submitted a report on this.  There are 1/2GB data files being created every 2 or 3 minutes.  I ended up having to uninstall TrueImage 2021. I am running on Windows 10 Home, 64 bit with all the latest updates.  My system is a Dell XPS 8700 with 24GB RAM, 256GB SSD C drive, and 2TB D drive.

Joe, thanks for bringing this topic to the ATI 2021 forum.

As I mentioned in my previous comment to the older topic, this is not an issue I have seen reported in these forums over the past 4+ years, so need to establish more information on what is different about your backup process here?

What type of backup are you creating?
Disks & Partitions or Entire PC?
Files & Folders?

What are you selecting for the Source of your backup?
Is this the local OS C: drive?

Where is the destination for the backup?
Is this your D: drive or an external backup drive?

Were you using all the default options for the backup task?
Or did you change any of those options?
In particular, did you change the Options > Advanced > Performance settings for the snapshot method to be used?

Do you have ATI 2021 installed or is it still removed?

Do you have a copy of the Acronis System Report zip file that was created when you reported the error message that was given?
If it is present on your system, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome for a SystemReport.zip file.
