Error 0x2640007: Failed to open SQLite database
Hi there
I hope someone can help with this issue.
I have two crucial MX500 SSD drives. I downloaded the Acronis cloning software (True Image) and then with one drive cloned my current hard drive with no issues, it works like a dream. The second computer I tried this with came up with: cloning failed error, I looked in the logs and this is what I get, can anyone help please?:

Simon, which version of Acronis did you download? Is it the Crucial OEM version or the trial version?
The failure appears to be in finding the file C:\ProgramData\Acronis\ActiveProtection\Statistics\statistics.sqlite. Does this file exist on your system?
Google analytics are generally handled as separate Acronis tasks unrelated to your normal tasks and run on a schedule, but they are not really necessary. Is it possible that the failing computer already had a version of True Image installed?

Steve Smith wrote:Simon, welcome to these public User Forums.
See KB 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which applies to all OEM versions of ATI supplied with hardware purchases.
The log snippet you quoted above has nothing to do with any cloning operation - this is from the Acronis use of Google Analytics data. Cloning normally uses the ti_demon / Demon logs.
There is a new MVP Assistant log viewer tool that has now been made available by Acronis via the Community Tools page..
If you have Disks & Partitions backups created on ATI 2020 or later using .tibx files, then look in the Backup Worker logs.
If you have Files & Folders backups using .tib files (or Disk backups from earlier versions using .tib files) then look in the Demon logs.
Other logs are shown by the MVP Assistant under the 'Active Logs' heading of the Log Viewer page of the Assistant.
The log files should be zipped to preserve their original file names if sharing in the forums and would need to be less than 3MB in size, otherwise you would need to share the zip file via a Cloud share service such as OneDrive, Dropbox etc.
Hi Steve
Thanks for taking the time and replying to my question.
I wasn't too sure what I was looking for as I've spent about 2 hours trying to see if anyone had the same issue but I guess if I'm searching for something from the wrong logs I'm not going to find the correct solution.
I think I've included a copy of the demon log as an attachment, hopefully you might be able to shed some light on what the issue might me.
I've run scans on the computer to check for errors, I've updated windows and I'm still coming across this issue.
Thanks for your help
Sy

Hi BrunoC
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question.
I have searched for this file high and low but when when I type the file address in to file manager I get 'windows can't find' message. From what Steve says it might not be the reason the cloning keeps failing but as the issue keeps cropping up I thought it could at least be causing some kind of a problem.
From doing a little search I can see there is only one version of Acronis on the computer.
Cheers Sy

Sy, thanks for the demon log, this shows an unusual problem which would suggest that you may need to do a Repair Install for your ATI application.

The initial part of the log shows the operations that are to be performed in 8 steps, but then it fails in the initial preparation step with the script error!
Try doing a Repair Install as per KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings and ensure this is done from an Administrator level account, then retry the operation.
Note: with any clone operation it is strongly recommended to have made a full disk backup of the source drive before starting - this is your safety net in case of any mistakes / errors etc.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the information, I've started working through these steps and will let you know the outcome. Method 1 has already failed so I'm on to method 2, fingers crossed.
Cheers
