Forgotten Password to access my back up files

Thread needs solution

Hi I have a problem with my Acronis True Image 2019 system, Back Up Source.

I need to use the data on my back up because I've had to reset my NAS.

The problem is, the system is request Authentication Settings User Name & Password:

Now I know the password to the Acronis Web Site Profile, the Authentication Settings request is different.

How do I change?

Can you help me?

Dakin, welcome to these public User Forums.

Where are your backup files stored?  Are they on your NAS?

From the limited information above it seems likely that your NAS reset has included changing the NAS credentials or perhaps even the NAS name and/or IP address - if so, you may need to clear any stored NAS credentials on your PC and remove the existing backup tasks that were using the old NAS name / credentials then use the option to 'Add existing backups' to select the most recent backup files from the new NAS name & credentials.

See KB 58004: Acronis True Image 2016: Troubleshooting Issues Related to NAS Credentials - for how to clear the old credentials.  (This applies to all recent versions of ATI including 2019).
