Have They Updated Your Ability to Disable the Antivirus Protection?

Thread needs solution

When I originally updated to 2020, it installed Acronis's antivirus protection.  This interfered with my ability to remote log in to work, since it is not an approved antivirus software.  At the time, I could not disable the service or uninstall it without uninstalling Acronis.  Has this changed or are we still stuck using it?  I would like try the software again, but not if it sticks me with their antivirus setup.

Jason, ATI 2020 didn't have any antivirus protection included, this came in with ATI 2021 in the form of Acronis Cyber Protection and was only available for the Advanced and Premium subscription users other than as a 30-day trial for other users with Standard (Perpetual) or Essential (crippled subscription) versions.

At this time, there is no official method of removing the new ATI 2021 Protection features though there is an internal change request: TI-213392 Allow installation without Antimalware components - that Acronis are considering!  Please submit Feedback direct to Acronis using the tool provided in the ATI GUI to add your vote for this change!
