HDD-Backup auf SSD einspielen möglich?

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

meine HDD ist defekt, Zeit auf SSD umzusteigen.

Kann ich das HDD-Backup auf eine SSD einspielen?
Was muss ich dabei beachten?
Ich kann nichts (mehr) klonen, weil eben die HDD defekt - und bereits gelöscht - ist!

my HDD is defective, time to switch to SSD.

Can I import the HDD backup onto an SSD?
What do I have to consider?
I can't clone anything (anymore) because the HDD is defective - and has already been deleted!

If you are replacing the defective HDD with an SSD which use the same physical connections as the HDD, then you just need to boot your PC from the Acronis Rescue Media and restore your HDD backup image to the SSD.

The main consideration is to boot the Acronis Rescue Media using the same BIOS boot mode as was used by Windows when booting from the old HDD, i.e. both using UEFI or both using Legacy.  You can check this by looking at the BIOS boot settings - if you see 'Windows Boot Manager' as the main boot device, this is UEFI boot.
