How to properly setup an Incremental image backup
I am using True Image 2021 build 35860. I am trying to properly setup an schedule that does a full image backup and then all subsequent backups are incremental image backups of the original. I have tried just about every combination of settings for incremental backups but all backups following the initial image backup appear to be full image backups also as they are roughly the same size. Due to space issues, this can be a really problem. The data on my laptop do not change that much so I know there is no way there is that much delta in data. Again, I have tried so many combinations of settings but they all seem to generate the same results, full image backups.
Am I missing some obvious setting?

John, note the bold item in Steve's response. All the increments are placed into the same .tibx file.
Take a look at the Recovery tab to see if you are getting backup dates to match each incremental.
Also, when you say "all subsequent backups" are incremental, are you considering just how many you should have before starting a new full backup? Do you have your cleanup rules set to keep from running out of space?

Thanks. For whatever reason I set it up again from scratch and it appears to be working now. Previous attempts always made a full second image. No idea what I did differently.
