How to recover from older backup(2013) using the new 2021 version

Thread needs solution

years ago I used True Image to do backups. Early this year I had a very bad crash of my complete system (fire). But I could restore most of it with several backups.

Now I found that there are still some very old files missing. I found a HDD with a TrueImage backup from 2013 (end of the year backup). How can I restore this, best check first and load only missing files? I loaded a test version of the new 2021 TrueImage system. But I see now way to add the old backup. Who can help me?

You can add an old backup - just the the right of the big + left bottom, used to create new backups is v, click on it and you can add the existing backup.

The Knowledge Base indicates that you should be able to restore from backup created with ATI 2013. Make sure that you select not to retain file security settings when you recover the files.

See KB 65547: Acronis True Image 2021: how to restore files from a backup (Windows) and scroll down the page to 'How to restore files in File Explorer' which you should find easier to use if only wanting to recover some files, allowing you to use normal Copy & Paste commands.
