Installation ATI gets stuck after one third

Thread needs solution

I installed ATI 2021 after deinstalling 2020. The installation worked, but ATI 2021 was crawling, and every command took ages, and there was a whiteout of the program after each command.

I was recommended by the seller to use the Acronis CleanUp utility to remove all old versions. I did so.

Now I wanted to again install ATI 2021, but the installation got stuck about after on third. No movement any more. I had to kill the process to get out. New start and repetition of installation: same problem.

What is happening here? And what can I do? Are new versions of ATI always more problematic then old versions? I think of reinstalling 2020 - hopefully this works now.

Please help!

Joshua, if you have previously had ATI 2021 installed successfully (albeit with performance issues), then it should be able to be installed again.

If you have used the Acronis Clean-up tool, then it is important that you also performed a Windows Restart before attempting to reinstall ATI again, and when doing the install, that you do so using an Administrator account.
