IanL-S wrote:Armin, you say you disabled "Active Protection", if that is all you have done, then other components of "Cyber Protection" will still be active. Active protection primarily directed to the protection of Acronis backups.
Could you please post screenshots of the Protection Overview tab, and of the settings (click on "settings" bottom right), and then do a screenshot for each of the 4 tabs, and post them also.

Dear Ian,
i disabled Active Protection lately but looks like malicious files/websites is active again but not listed!
Any idea where it's logged?

Bit of confusion on my part - Malicious Websites is part of active protection. In my case it is disabled as Norton 360 deals with malicious files and malicious websites. Cannot investigate more as that aspect is disabled on my PCs.
If Active Protection is disabled, then it should all be disabled. There is an outside chance that things will be fixed by doing a repair installation - 60195: Acronis True Image: repair, update and clean installations on Windows.
If that does not help, you may have to resort to contacting Acronis technical support.

Now TI removes (false positive) quarantined files and shows wrong backup time/size (4sec for 67GB)
This software is crap

Armin, you really need to raise this type of issue direct with Acronis Support so that they hear what you are saying!
If you have an existing trusted security / antivirus application installed, then you should turn off the new Acronis Cyber Protection if it has not already 'stepped down' on discovering your installed protection. You should go into the Protection Settings and turn off individual features of the new protection if not turning off everything, i.e. there is a separate settings tab for the new Vulnerability feature where you can turn this off!

Protection This element has been removed from quarantine:
Filezilla_3.49.0_Win64_sponsore
The protection is not up to date. Click here to download the latest update.
These notifications are telling you that Filezilla version 3.49.0 is an outdated version and needs to be updated to the latest version available by Click here.
Why do you say this is incorrect? When I visit the download site and check version history the latest version of Filezilla is 3.54.1, how is that crap?
Cyber Protection is telling you that a vulnerability may exist due to out of date software installed on your computer. Your installed version has undergone near 20 revision update to get to 3.54.1, I would think it prudent to update to the latest version of the application.

Sorry @Enchantech (can't even highlight you in this forum) but this file got quarantined because of false positive (was not outdated when download) I disabled Cyber Protection w/ a script from @Steve Smith and it's still interfering: thats why i call this software crap and will not prolongate it! Discontinuation of perpetual license imakes it easier to move away from Acronis
