Need help failed Clone!

Thread needs solution

So I had my OS on a Sabrent Rocket, put in a EVO 970 and went to clone my OS to that.

I've used Acronis before and this time it asked me to restart to continue with the cloning process which I found odd and this is where mistakes were made.

It went on to copying and merging before going into Windows and then when it finishedy PC completely crapped out!

I'm able to get to the BIOS and system repair and troubleshoot so do I have to do a complete new Install of Windows?

Dylan, welcome to these public User Forums.

First question: Do you have a full disk backup image of your Sabrent Rocket drive from before you embarked on this failed clone exercise?

If you have no backup then sorry, but you are looking at a new install of Windows.

If you do have a full disk backup, then you next need to create the Acronis Rescue Media to use to boot your computer in order to recover that disk backup to either the original drive, or to your new Samsung 970 EVO SSD.

The process to create rescue media and do the recovery depends on what version of Acronis True Image you have and if this is installed on another PC to use to make the media?
