Need working, wired mouse and wired keyboard drivers for a homebuilt desktop

Thread solved

I have Acronis 2021, but the Simple, Acronis bootable media (DVD) I create does not have a working, wired mouse, either PS/2 or USB, nor a working, wired keyboard, when I attempt to boot from the DVD.  Evidently, the drivers for these are not functional or installed.

If I make a bootable media, either DVD or USB, are there drivers for a wired mouse and wired keyboard that I can add?  I am attempting this on a homebuilt PC (built by me), running an ASUS, M5A87 motherboard.

Timothy, have you tested the Linux version of the ATI 2021 rescue media with your homebrew PC?  The ASUS M5A87 motherboard looks to be some years old so might give better results with the Linux media, which you can create using the Advanced option in the builder tool.

Wired keyboards and mice don't normally give problems with the rescue media, it is usually when wireless devices are used or blue-tooth!

Thanks, Steve, the Linux media eventually worked.  The mouse and keyboard were functional, but it takes 2-3 tries of booting with it to get past the screen freezing partway through the booting and loading.  Also, I had to disconnect a USB 2 hub, which had a webcam and printer plugged into it, for the boot process to succeed.
