No warning of subscription renewal due - Dodgy Acronis practice

Thread needs solution

Is it normal Acronis practice to give absolutely NO WARNING that you are going to take money from a users account for subscription renewal?

Every other company with a subscription service reminds users days before taking money from their account and doesn't rely on a sizeable number of people to forget a subscription renewal is due (especially likely when subscriptions are annual or longer).

I got NO courtesy email saying renewal was due, just an email touting the premium service the day before (just a line in the email saying my renewal was due would of been acceptable).

While I would likely of bought a key elsewhere (because Acronis don't reward loyalty with discounts) to continue using TI, this shady practice is downright anti-consumer and bordering on predatory.

PT, the ATI GUI Account page shows the precise date when a subscription will expire / will be renewed.  The user would need to contact Acronis before that date if any change to subscription is wanted, i.e. to cancel automatic renewal etc.

Please send Feedback direct to Acronis about the lack of any warning email to alert users to automatic renewal!  Unfortunately this seems to be a common practise for many companies who make it as difficult as possible for users to end subscriptions once started!!!

With me stands your subscription will remain active until XX SS SS. Then I can click on "Renew" if necessary
