Not getting Global Email Message (I get the Local Email Message)

Thread needs solution

Recently the Global email option has stopped working..  I have tried a couple email addresses and no success.  This has happened in the past (2018) and it took months to remedy...  

Note the local task oriented email works fine (Note for GMAIL you must use TLS not SSL..)  

I am running Acronis 2021 Version 3 (Interesting fact is that Global Status Emails stopped working after I updated.. but the odd thing is that the global email send is on the Acronis web page??)

Likely others are noticing this as well (I am in Canada)

Andrew, welcome to these public User Forums.

Please check that the Acronis Managed Machine Mini Service is active and running on your PC as this is the component that communicates with the Acronis Dashboard to notify backup status and generate the notification emails.

If the MMMS service is running, then you may need to contact Acronis for further help.

Hey Andrew, 

It appears that TLS 1.0 is built into Acronis True Image. It does not support TLS 1.2 required by 99% of email providers. Shocking considering the apps foundation is built on "security."
