Older ATI Versions

Thread solved

Due to the many issues posted about ATI 2021 I am currently running ATI 2020.  I am thinking of going back to ATI 2019 now to improve some backup time issues that were introduced with 2020 and the tibx file format.  Are there any things I should be aware of concerning older version support, rescue media and reliability?  Thanks.

Greg, the initial point to note is that there is no support for any older versions of ATI from Acronis - only the current version is supported (up until 30-days after the next new version is released to the public).

If you revert back from ATI 2020 to 2019 (or earlier), then you will need to do a full uninstall and clean-up (using the Acronis Cleanup tool - link below), then recreate any disk backup tasks that have been making .tibx files (as 2019 and earlier has no methods of handling such file types).

Only your ATI 2020 rescue media could be used to work with any .tibx backup files, so keep a copy of this in your toolkit and make new rescue media from the older version of ATI you install, plus ensure you pick the final build version to install from!
