Online Dashboard shows backing up. Local app shows complete

Thread needs solution

Firstly I wasn't sure if I should have posted this in the TI2018 forum as the issue started on the last backup before upgrading to TI2021.

For one of my PCs, the Online Dashboard shows a backup still running at 90% from 3 days ago.  It still updates the NextBackup each day as the daily backup completes.

When I look in the local application, it shows the backup completed normally and so have the subsequent backups, which are not being reflected on the Dashboard.

What's the best way to clean up the Dashboard.

Eddie, there have been various issues with the Online Dashboard recently and going back to around a year ago, including misleading status information etc.

I would recommend that you open a Support Case direct with Acronis Support to alert them to the issues you are seeing as this is something that needs correcting on their server side.

From your end, just check that the Acronis Managed Machine Mini Service is active and running in the Windows Task Manager Services page or the main services control panel, as this is the service that communicates with the Dashboard.

Personally, I just rely on the local Activity page for my backups and never use the Dashboard!

Yep, that service is running.

If it were my or my wife's machine, then checking locally wouldn't be a problem  That particular one is her sister's in a different state !!

Eddie, setup the email notifications for the backup task on the remote machine and have it send an email to your email account with the log information, which will tell you that the backups have run and with what result.

I get these emails from my own PC's on my smart phone and can see if there are any issues etc.

I use TeamViewer to access any remote systems that I help with.
