Over 30 Detected Python Vulnerabilities ATIH Mac on Big Sur - what are we supposed to do with them??

Thread solved

My vulnerability scan under ATIH for Mac Protection reported over 30 Python vulnerabilities, including 5 critical. Affected product "Python"?

What are we supposed to do about these threats? The links to "learn more" are completely indecipherable. I gather Python runs scripts (? something like Java?), but I have no idea where it is on MacOS and how I can address the threats. Nice to report it, but a solution would be nicer! Can anyone explain? Thanks!

jwitkin,

Welcome, first would like to advise you that this is the Windows Forum for Acronis True Image so MVP's here, myself included, are not Mac proficient.

Having said that, the vulnerability scans performed by True Image assess the Operating System on the machine it is installed on.  Those flagged are reported to the user at this juncture and only serve to advise you that these security holes exists on your system.  Apple has undoubtedly released patches for the majority of if not all of these vulnerabilities.  Having said that I have no idea how you go about getting these patch updates on your system.

I found a link below about this topic which you may find of some help and I would encourage you to go the  Mac specific True Image Forum to post this there and see if someone else may answer.  Good luck in patching.
