Panic on macOS 11.1 - Mac keeps rebooting

Thread needs solution

Today, after updating to the latest version of ATI on macOS Big Sur 11.1 (no beta), my MBP kept rebooting because of an unknown issue. After entering Recovery Mode and disabling all kexts via trigger-panic-medic, uninstalling ATI , reinstalling it and updating to the latest version, I enabled the following kernel extensions:

Legacy Developer: Jrdcom

Legacy Developer: Driver

(plus others)

and all went smoothly.

When the previously indicated kexts were enabled and the Acronis International GmbH kexts was also enabled, the system kept rebooting in a loop.

I'm thinking the Acronis kernel extensions is causing issue on macOS, and I don't know how to troubleshoot it. Everything keeps running correctly except for this kext.

Please help.

Fabio, welcome to these public User Forums.

Caveat: I am a Windows user with no direct experience of using ATI on any Mac.

See KB 67087: macOS Big Sur (11.0) support in Acronis products and
KB 67545: Acronis True Image 2021 on Mac: limitations on macOS 11 Big Sur

Plus ensure that you are using Build number for Mac: 35810 for the latest version of ATI 2021.

If you still see panic errors etc, then please open a Support Case direct with Acronis Support to allow them to investigate the problem in more detail.
