Please restore right-click function to System Tray Icon - This new method is TERRIBLE

Thread needs solution

Well, just upgraded from 2019 to 2021 and the UX for the new system tray is awful. Since they removed the right click functionality, when you try to click or right-click the system tray icon when it's docked, it gets hidden behind the System Tray fly-away menu, which makes it difficult to use the system tray to launch/open ATI.

This needs to be fixed.

In the meantime, is there anyway to just disable the system tray icon because it's basically useless to me now.

You will need to use the option to submit Feedback provided in the main ATI application to make your feelings about the changes to the system tray icon known to Acronis, (understanding that this change actually was introduced with ATI 2020).

If you want to remove the icon, then you need to end the TrueImageMonitor.exe process and stop this from being started automatically which you can do via the Start-up tab of the Windows Task Manager by setting it to be disabled.
