Harry, welcome to these public User Forums.

Do a search for 'Qt platform plugin' on Google and there are lots of hits for the same error reported by users of many different applications (none for Acronis except yours).

One suggestion is to open a Command prompt and enter:

echo %QT_PLUGIN_PATH%

to see if this shows a value for this system path?  If it does, the recommendation is to delete the path (after making a note of what it is).  This path is empty on my own system.

A further check is to search your C: drive for 'qwindows.dll' to see what applications are using the Qt platform plugin that may be causing this issue with launching ATI 2021.

On my own Windows system, I can can see a number of applications using Qt, including ATI 2021, Dropbox, Synology Drive, MiniTool  Partition Wizard & ShadowMaker, OneDrive plus other applications, but none of these cause an issue with starting ATI 2021.

See webpage: "could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "", from the Qt forums.

Or webpage: How do I fix the Qt platform plugin "windows" error?  from the Dropbox forums.

Hallo Harry Zweifel,

Gibt es im Ordner "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\platforms" eine "qwindows.dll"?
