The "security" features are killing True Image

The "security" features are just killing ATI. I'm paying for a backup solution, not the "antivirus" whistles. In previous versions it was at least possible to disable them, but in 2021 they're permanently enabled eating system resources.

Notice that "cyber-protect-service.exe" process on the WPR shot — it's active even while all the "security" options are disabled.

Honestly, that feels like a scam. I need a backup solution and that's it. Why are you forcing me with unrelated features, that are slowing my system? Please make an ATI version with the backup features only, without all that "security" nonsense.

Hello Elringus,

I've passed your feedback to the product management, thank you! May I also ask you to send us the system report from your PC via the feedback? The Protection features shouldn't make the system slow for sure, so it's crucial for us to find the root cause for the performance issues.

I gave up and uninstalled and quit my subscription..  Too slow, bugs, no support.  It was a pretty good product till this release.  My advise is stop bloating your product and remember the product is for backing up hardrives.  Hope you get it fixed.

Regards

I have to admit, unless Acronis provide a option to disable Cyber Protection Features in TI2021 really soon, then I shall delete my subscription and go elsewhere.

It clashes with other Cyber Protection features of other programmes like McAfee and Windows Defender.  Even if you turn the functionality off in the program, the Acronis Cyber Protection Service is still enabled in services.msc, and while trying to disable that a whole host of errors are logged in event log. I've spent 6 hours today trying to get the system stable, and currently stuggling to even uninstall the damn program.

I've never had so many issues with TI as I with this build. I bought a back-up solution from Acronic in 2009 and have always updated to the latest version.  If I want a Cyber Protection Service, I'll go get one. The integration of this one feels like its just been done to keep up with the likes of Norton.
