You must restart your Mac

Thread needs solution

I have recently transferred my Acronis licence from my old iMac to a new MacBook Air. However, backups are not happening.

When I open Acronis True Image, I get a message that reads "To run Across True Image you must restart your Mac". I have now done this several times and each time I open the True Image it gives me the same message.

Can anyone shed some light, please?
