I think i need that newer iso file here to as the bootable cd doesn't either detect any harddrive or
just hangs during boot on our newer HP desktops and laptops..

I regret to inform you that Acronis True Image 9.1 is an outdated product: it's not developed, supported and updated anymore, so we cannot guarantee that it will work with the modern hardware.

The best solution here is to upgrade to Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation. You can test the solution before making a decision. Please also note that we have added some functionality and changed the GUI, so you may find User Guide useful.

Yes I know 9.1 is "old" but since you supplied a newer recovery iso file to Richard Murphy for 9.1
back i september I thought it was worth a shot.
