Acronis True Echo don't delete temp files

Thread needs solution

Hi,
on a Windows Server 2003 R2 I've a problem with the Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server (Build 8.319):
After the systemdisk was nearly full, I see in the temp folder where multiple acrXXX.temp files.
I read (http://kb.acronis.com/node/19834) that the temp files should be removed after work, so I wonder why these won't be removed?

Thanks for reply!

Hello Gregor,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here. Thank you for reporting about the issue, I will be glad to assist you.

It looks like these files are snapshots created by Acronis Software. They usually remain on the drive is the backup crashed or the machine was rebooted during the backup creation session.

Due to the lack of investigation information we cannot say for sure what exactly went wrong, and unfortunately as the product you're using is no longer supported due to being outdated, we cannot request development assistance. In this case all we can advise is to make sure that the backup process doesn't get interrupted, and test Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 Advanced Server - it's an upgraded and modified version of Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server. You can find the trial version here. Also additional algorithms to clean up storage from temp files are implemented in ABR11.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.
