Acronis True Image Echo Server E000101F4 Unable to initialise Computer
Hi everyone,
we have a problem with Acronis True Image Echo Server on Windows 2003 Server (SP2). I am from Germany, so I've tried to translate the error messages. I apologize for any mistakes made in this language.
The Error is about the following:
When we start up acronis, a message appears saying:
E000101F4: Unable to Initialize Computer
Unable to initialise Snapshopt Manager (0x100005)
Tag = 0x8D5BF87C202E86CB
Versionconflict, the Module Versions are incompatible (0x9)
code = E0000009)
Tag = 0xABF5B651C7D88E41
If we try to edit any existing task we get the following error:
E00640065: The Source-Destination could not be resolved.
Unable to resolve source destination, you should edit the task.
So the only thing I can do is klicking "OK".
After that, the next message appears:
E00640066: The Task's script file is damaged.
The script contains wrong or incomplete data. Klick OK, to edit the script, or press cancel.
So I click OK to edit the task.
Then the task settings appear. I choose "My Computer" to back up and klick "next". After that I should be able to choose the hard disks and partitions, that I want to back up, but the windows is empty. There are no harddisks or partitions shown.
And finally (only for completeness) I can not back up any data from our server.
I mady a few attempts to resolve the issue by myself and found out that its origin could be the SnapAPI drivers. So I've downloaded a newer version and installed them. After that I needed to restart the server. I did so, but at this point the server died in a bluescreen loop, which told me that it is caused by the file: snapman.sys (and Windows error code: 0x000007E)
Luckily I was able to restore the server by using the last known functional conficuration (At this point: Thanks MS. :-) )
So I guess I've installed a wrong version of the SnapAPI Drivers for our system..? Can you remember, having this issue by yourself? I know that our version is out of support, but maybe you can help me (at least with a download link to the correct SnapAPI drivers for 2003 Server (SP2)), because I do not know how to continue.
Any help is much appreciated! Please help us!

Hi Colin,
thanks for your reply.
We've solved the Problem by ourself by installing the latest updated version of our Acronis.
So this thread can be closed.
Thanks for reading.
