Acronis True Image Echo Server hangs when select drives/files to backup

Hi guys,

I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2 running Acronis True Image Echo Server with Acronis Universal Restore (Build 8,018)

It seems that the Acronis hangs whenever i try to run the backup wizard. Wherever i was prompt to select the drive(s) that i wish to backup, the whole software will just hangs after i select my desired drive & click next. It doesn't matter which drives i choose as the outcome will always be the same.

I've also tried to back up files & folders instead of drive, but the Acronis software would hang as well after the file type exclusion page.

Appreciate if someone out there is able to assist me on this matter as i could not back up my drives & data because of this problem.

Thank you for posting and welcome to our forum. I will definitely help you with this.

Before troubleshooting this issue I would really appreciate if you can update your program to the latest build. The most current one for Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows is 8398.

It is most likely a software issue than anything else, because our program hangs no matter what type of backup you are using and build 8018 was one of the first.
