Can I use Universal Restore with Echo Enterprise Server for Server 2003?

Thread needs solution

Hi,
as stated above this is my scenario:

We are using True Image Echo Enterprise Server on our Server which runs Windows Server 2003. The hardware is getting aged and I'd like to move to a new hardware.
Can I use Universal Restore to move our system to a new hardware? In other words: is this combination supported?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Hello Markus,

Thank you for your post. I will certainly help you with your question.

This combination is definitely supported. Please make sure that before restoring the backup of your machine to a machine with dissimilar hardware, you have drivers for the hard disk drive controller or chipset drivers. These drivers are critical for booting the operating system. You can download the drivers for your motherboard on the Vendor's web-site. Please note, if you downloaded the drivers in *.exe, *.cab, *.zip format, you should extract them first. We also have a detailed recovery guide here.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
