Cannot locate driver: PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0060&SUBSYS_1F0C1028&REV_04

Thread needs solution

Hi, we are using TrueImageServerEcho.8353_s_en.exe to restore a server image from Dell PE2950 to Dell R710. The OS of the image is running on W2K Server SP4. We are using the Universal Restore and have saved many drivers for the New Dell R710 on a portable USB driver connected to the new server. We have also specified the file path of all the drivers individually, since we do not know if Acronis is capable of seraching the subfolders. Anyway, the restoring process is interrupted due to the following message:

Warning! Recovery with Acronis Universal Restore was interrupted!

During Acronis Universal Restore for Microsoft Windows 2000 Server operation, a new device was found that requires additional driver...

Device: PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0060&SUBSYS_1F0C1028&REV_04

We think it is asking for DELL_PERC-6-I-INTEGRATED driver and have explicitly specified this file path along with many others. Once I skip this driver the restoration process is complete. After system is rebooted to the Windows 2000 Screen, a blue screen is shown.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I am having the exact same problem. I have the driver in a folder and it still does not see it. Same driver, etc. as above.

I installed the latest updates, then burned a new boot iso and on that iso I included the drivers for PERC 6 integrated as well as any others I thought necessary and it worked like a charm. I used the advanced button on the restore and specifically showed it where those drivers were located on the image file and no problem at all. Just had to install a couple other drivers.

Hope it helps you.

My restore was finally completed successfully but now my keyboard and mouse don't work once it goes to the login screen. The keyboard was working fine during the boot-up. I can select the boot-up mode (safe-mode with Command Prompt, normal mode, and etc). It hung in the safe mode with command prompt and I can't login because the keyboard doesn't work. Hence, I can't upgrade the Chipset for R710.

Any idea?

For Douglas Murphy
In that folder you put the drivers? d:\Drivers\ Intel d:\Drivers\ATI d:\Drivers\Nvidia ...
And when you used the Advanced button what you specify only the root d:\ Drivers I had to specify d:\Drivers\Intel, D:\Drivers\ATI ... ?

I used a flash drive and along with the ISO I added a folder called DRIVERS: In that folder I loaded every driver I could find for my server including the PERC6. You need to go online to your vendors site and download all the applicable drivers into that folder. Then when you are doing the restore, choose advanced and then point to the DRIVER files. It will then load all the drivers needed when doing the install so your mouse and keyboard will work. Once I was back up, I still had to manually load some other drivers, but since I had everything right there on the flash drive, it took a few minutes and I was back in business just like nothing every happened, except a newer and better server working for me.

Hope this helps
