Can't restore original timestamp to root folders
Hi:
The problem is that in restoring files to a clean(ed) partition, most of the root folders all have the current time and date stamp, not the timestamps of the original image. Similarly, many if not most of the subfolders also have the current timestamps (though not all) This is even if overwrite existing files has been selected, and the restore image is reapplied.
I have been restoring files, not the whole partition (yet). And have done this from a boot CD and from launch under Windows.
Edit: Just now did a restore of the whole partition, and the original timestamps were preserved. Required reboot, and the partitions were prepared/sized under extended overall partition separately
This problem is noted as a general problem, and the only fix I saw was to set the selections. This has not solved the problem.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi:
(lost my previous comment when I tried to respond to your suggestion to update to latest build)
Sorry I was not clear on what I had done. I have indeed disabled the (default) selection "Set current date and time for the restored file". That was the ambiguous reference in my comment "the only fix I saw was to set the selections" Sorry for the inconvenience.
I will look into upgrading to a later build.
Thank you again for your help.
