Can't start unknown Linux distro after TIB restore.

Thread needs solution

Hello All,
I hope i'm posting this at the correct forum.
I created a TIB file to a portable usb hard-drive for a physical Linux machine using an old version of "Acronis True Image Enterprise Server version 8.1 (build 945)" which is a part of old Hiren's Boot-CD (version 9.1)

I can't seem to be able to start the OS after restoring my TIB to a virtual machine.
I tried ESX server using latest version of "VMware vCenter Converter" , but when I tried to start the virtual machine I got an error saying "Error loading operating system"
when I tried to use "VMware player" i get "Operating System not found"

Problem is I dont know which linux Distribution I had at the physical machine and no longer have access to it.
I tried changing the OS type to all kind of linux distro at both cases but without any luck.
I can hear all options, what should i do it that case?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Tnx, Yaniv.
