Logon information go mad

Thread needs solution

Hi everybody,

i'm going mad with an incorrect logon information, need support.
I use Acronis True  Image Management Console to backup an old W2K Adv web server.
That's quite "funny": unfortunately somewhere around the world there is a dead hacker in front of a pc trying to brute force my ftp site. "Unfortunately" mi big boss decided not to renovate my Cisco IDM license so, thanks to IIS vulnerabilities, i had to change my local Administrator username in administratorabcd (that's an example).
So I reinstalled Acronis true image agent but despite many attempt my Management Console cannot store the new login.
Moreover when i logon the console to this web server and i try to disconnect the program stay pending.
I try to unistall, then I delete some files in temp dir, then I delete some registry keys but without success.

Some suggestions?

Thank you for your message. I will definitely help you with this issue.

The most probably cause of this problem is that some software components did not update properly, or, the new user does not have the required privileges. To get around this issue, I can recommend the following 2 articles from our Knowledge Base:

 - Acronis True Image Management Console Hangs When Connecting to Acronis Agent

 - Acronis Management Console Cannot Connect to Remote Components

If the solution suggested in the above articles fail to resolve this problem, then I would suggest to perform a clean uninstall, either manually or using our clean up utility.
