Need to free up space and move ASZ to a new HD

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis True Image Workstation version 9.1 (build 3887). The backups are gradually eating my entire hard drive. I tried to delete the old archives, but inexplicably there is no option to do so. I need to do a couple things now:

1. I bought a new hard drive and I want to move the ASZ to it. It's currently on a partition on my main hard drive and I don't want it there anymore.

2. I want to copy all the current archives to the new ASZ and get rid of the ASZ on my main HD, and add that space back to my C: partition.

3. I want to delete every archive that is more than 1 month old, and I would like them to be automatically deleted every time I perform a new backup.

Any help would be appreciated.

It may help if you move the thread into the Workstation section (it's currently in the Home section).

If Workstation creates the SZ as earlier versions of TI Home did, you would need to change it to a standard FAT32 partition to get access to the contents. I don't know if you would be able to place them into a new SZ and have TI take off from them. You may need to save the backups you need and start over with the new SZ.

You may be able to access the SZ using a Live Linux CD (Ubuntu, Knoppix, etc.) without changing the partition type.
