True Image Echo server - backup extremely slow since 1/7/2011

A Server 2003 R2 was rebooted on 1st July following installation of updates at 5:15 am -

Restart Required: To complete the installation of the following updates, the computer will be restarted within 15 minutes:
- Security Update for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2478658)
- Security Update for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2518864)

Ever since then the regular daily job that normally runs for 2h 20m or so from 3am is taking another 6.5 hours!! It only finishes near to midday!

Can anyone point me in the right direction here???

Thanks

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your message. I will definitely help you with this issue.

I would recommend to check this troubleshooting guide for slow backup speeds and if you need additional help I would appreciate if you could get back to me.

Thank you.

Anton,

Thanks for assisting - this is very strange to me. The server restarted at 5:15am on Friday last week. Then every backup has taken 6.5 hours longer than the 2.25 it would normally. So there are no changes other than MS Updates that I copied in to the first comment.
