True Image Workstation 9.1/3887 can't mount successfull images

Thread needs solution

All of a sudden I cannot mount images created with TI, despite them validating. The system either freezes when partitions are being assigned a drive letter, or if it gets past that the mounted drives don't appear and the system freezes.

This build has been working reliably for a very long time until this problem which only arose a few days ago.

Could a Windows update have caused this, or is there any other fix for it?

Thanks

 Hello Keith!

Thank you for reporting about the issue. I understand your concern and will do my best to assist you.

Unfortunately due to the lack of sufficient diagnostic information it's very hard to identify what exactly went wrong. Most probably the issue was caused by the conflict with the drivers. Acronis True Image 9.1 is an outdated version, it's not developed, updated and supported anymore, so it may fail to work with the latest system updates and drivers in the image. The most difficult part here is the fact that it's outdated - thus even if we start the investigation, we won't be able to forward the diagnostic data to support for analysis.

As a workaround I can suggest you to test the latest version of the Workstation products - Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation. You can find all the information regarding its functionality in the Installation, Quick Start and User's Guides. Should you like the product, you can upgrade to it from your current version. Just press Upgrade from Echo Workstation or 9.1 Workstation button - and the product will be added to your cart.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
