Unable to boot with Boot CD version TrueImageWorkstationEcho.8353_s_en
Hello
We are having the same trouble as some others getting the True Image boot CD to boot our HP Elite book 6930P. The CD will boot past the loader screen to where it says "loading please wait." The system freezes from there and will not proceed into the True image client.
We can use the previous version boot CD and the true image client loads fine however since the laptops are new the older version does not see the hard drive or nic card, we are guessing the hardware drivers are out of date.
We have read that there maybe a special iso available that fixes this?
Please advise.
Regards

That special iso may or may not fix your problem ... go to your Acronis account and you will find it.
I have the most reason download. It hangs on on the starting arconis true image after the loader. It is a HP N610C laptop. It is about 6 years old.

Hello
We used the special bootable media and it seems to work on the machines we were having trouble booting using the boot media generated by the true image software. We still are unclear as to why the orginal bootable media does not boot some machines. Hopefully a there is a fix for true image in the works.

Hello all,
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
CryptiK, Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product is based on Acronis Linux bootloader, whereas the special media is based on ISOLINUX bootloader.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting. You can also set a specific VGA resolution in the ISOLINUX media if there an issue with the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Thank you.

new acronis true image version 10 boot cd build 8398 does not have the nic drivers for Dell E6510 Intel 82577LM gigabit network card. (driver name is: elk62x64.sys). Is there a newer boot cd iso version I can download to get this to work?

If there isn't updated acronis boot cd iso, is there a way that I can create my own acronis boot cd to include the network drivers for my machine? If yes, how would I do that?

Dear Izmcgee!
Thank you for finding time to leave a comment and report about the issue! I understand how upsetting the situation is and will do my best to help you.
As you've correctly mentioned, the issue is caused by the lack of drivers on the bootable media. You can obtain the latest bootable media built on alternative loader directly from your account and burn it onto the CD - it should work with Dell models.
Should the issue persist, please gather Acronis Linux Report the media and send to us - it will help us to localise the issue and built a new ISO for you.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you!
