Username and password incorrect

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have Acronis True Image echo for servers and I have been using it for over a year. Suddenly, the scheduled tasks no longer run stating I have an incorrect user name and password. I deleted the tasks and recreated them. I stopped the scheduler and restarted. I am still getting the error. If I run the tasks manually, they run.

In order to fix the issue  I would advise you to update the scheduler, following the below instructions: 

  1. Download Acronis Scheduler Manager
  2. Open the console: Start -> Run -> cmd
  3. Run schedmgr.exe
  4. Issue the following command:
    task zap
    it will delete all existing tasks
  5. Download the latest build of Acronis Scheduler and run it - it will automatically update the scheduler
  6. Reboot the machine (if possible)
  7. Recreate the tasks

Please also make sure that the user you're running the tasks from is added to the Backup files and Directories and Administrator and Backup Operator group.

This should resolve the issue faced.
