WEIRD Behavior by True Image Echo Enterprise Server

Thread needs solution

I've oversimplified ..

Server OS is Windows 2000 Server
Server is RAID 10 (4 drives)
Server doing daily differential backups (image) to NAS using TI (not Echo) Enterprise Server 9.1

One drive failed and I was not able to rebuild (for other reasons)

Tried a TI Echo Enterprise Server Boot CD
So tried to do a restore read an image from NAS
Get an error saying it was not a TI Echo archive, corrupted file etc. I dont think it has anything to do with RAID since I was able to see Drive C and I never got to the write stage.

Tried same boot CD (Echo) on another PC and can read the EXACT same image files just fine.. Only when I do Boot CD from the server do I get the error when trying to read images.

Hello G. Guerra,

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to help you.

It is possible this issue is caused by archive corruption or an issue with the network. I would recommend this corrupt backups troubleshooting guide and if you have additional questions please let me know.

Thank you.
