Will Echo build 8,398 work on Win7 64bit?

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I have been a very happy user of True Image Echo Workstation (build 8,398) on XP and lost the sense of upgrades etc.
I am moving to a new system with Win7 Pro 64-bit and need to learn if I can still use this product.

Thanks for any info.

Hello Greggy101!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad you joined us!

Thank you for your question. I regret to inform you though that Acronis True Image Echo Workstation officially doesn't support Windows 7, wasn't tested on it and in case you'll face any technical issues with it - we won't be able to help you. (You can find the list of supported OSes in the chapter 2.1.2 p. 13 of the User's Guide)

I would suggest you to test Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation on your Windows 7, you can find the demo version right here. You will find all the information regarding installation, setting up and usability in the Installation, Quick Start and User's Guide.

The trial version is full functional and doesn't have any limitations except

  • 15 days of work
  • trial Bootable Media can restore only

Please also keep in mind that our tech support will be happy to assist you with any question 24/7 even while you're trialing the product. You can contact us via webform or chat service at any time with any question and concerns - we will be glad to help you!

Don't hesitate to share your feedback with us, it is really important for us!

Thank you!

Thanks Yana for the info.

Does Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation have the Nostop Backup option?

Hello Greggy101!

You are more than welcome, I enjoy assisting you!

Unfortunately NonStop Backup functionality is not included into the Acronis Corporate Product. It does included into the Acronis True Image Home 2010, feel free to test it! I would also like to mention that from now on Acronis True Image Home 2010 has Acronis Universal Restore added: it is available in the Plus Pack add-on.

We have also changed GUI a bit, so I would advise you to take a look at Home Acronis Universal Restore Guide with step by step screenshots - you may find it useful.

Let me know if you'd like to know anything else - I will be glad to answer!
