11 Months and going for Restoration of Event Viewer and History View

Thread needs solution

I contacted support roughly 11 months ago to ask why the Windows Event Viewer integration and Backup History calendar were removed in True Image 2015. These features were present in earlier versions of True Image but were inexplicably removed in 2015.

I was told this would be put into the backlog, but it's now been almost a year and these undeniably core features are still not restored. The underlying event data and history is all still being captured by True Image, which can be seen if one generates a system report. So I don't understand why this has not been done yet. Integrated event notification and the ability to look at the backup history are utterly fundamental and mandatory features for any backup tool. Email is not a valid substitute for integration with the event viewer.

Can someone comment on this continuing delay in restoring these dropped features? I never even got a straight answer as to why these features were removed in the first place.

Maybe the new 2016 version of True Image will include the features that you need.
I for one will not be buying the new version until I can see a list of any changes and fixes that are included
or even excluded in this version. In times gone by this was known as a change log. When will Acronis produce such a useful document?

So yeah, 2016 is still missing these crucial features. I'm really not sure what the heck Acronis is thinking...
