2009/2010 Acronis Backup help. Have 202gb of .tib files. Need to fully get my data

Thread needs solution

Weird story but in 2009/2010 I had a hard drive crash and through friend of a friend I was introduced to a person who recovered my data. Now during this he was killed in a car crash and could not complete the work. I was given a hard drive back with 202gb of .tib files with my name on it. How do I see or get the data?

I was in the Military and deployed again and now that I'm out I would love to get my data back. Mainly pictures of travel and war.

Professional data recover wants over $1,000 and I cannot pay that. I don't know what Acronis software he used and looking for help. Will a trial version work to recover these.tib files or do I need a purchase an entire new software product.

Any help??

Thomas. Welcome to forums

I recommend trying the trial version since you don't know what earlier version of True Image was used. With he trial version you should be able to at least browse and/or mount the .tib files. Please look at https://kb.acronis.com/content/2768.

I also suggest that you remove your email address from the post to avoid spam.
