2009/2010 Bootable Media Fails

Thread needs solution

I've been using True Image home 2009 to image PCs in our organization. We use Dell desktops and laptops exclusively. I received a new shipment of Dell Latitude E6500 laptops, and the 2009 bootable media (USB or CD) fails, resulting in a reboot.

I have a copy of the True Image 11 product, and oddly enough, the laptops will boot off of the v11 media. All of my images are in 2009 format though. I've tried creating new bootable media with 2009, and the trial of 2010. I've tried every startup parameter. I've downloaded the bootable ISO for 2009, and it still does not work.

See errors in attachments.

Hello Eric,

Please accept our apologies for the difficulties you've experienced.

I'll surely help you and resolve the issue.

I've sent you a Private Message with a download link to the special bootable media for the trial version of Acronis True Image 2010. It's based on the different bootloader and includes the most recent hardware drivers. If this new image will not work for you, I need additional information from you.

  1. Could you please gather Acronis Linux Report as described at this KB article?
  2. Could you collect Windows System Information?

After that please send me a Private Message with the collected information.

Please reply to this thread if the issue still persists, I'll be glad to help you.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
