2015 update to 6055 causing corrupted disk

Thread needs solution

I have 2015 installed for three PCs. It is properly activated. When I try to install the 6055 update all goes well until I reboot. At this point the PC will not start and I must recover using latest image from a back up using my true image recovery. The boot disk (a samsung SSD) has become corrupted.

The update worked on my other two pcs. All are W7

I have avast as my antivirus and have boot scanned to check for virus. Avast says the pc is claen.

Any suggestions?

Joel

Were you using the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager? If yes, deactivate it before updating. Consider also not using the Acronis Secure zone, if you do use it.
