3 Seperate full backups all corrupt?

Thread needs solution

I have 3 external hard drivers that I rotate every day. I preform a full backup every day. Every time the drives shuffle back to a drive that was previously used, I format the drive so it is blank.

I decided to do a mock disaster to test and see if my backups would unpack to a spare PC I have. The HDD I am backing up is 750GB and the HDD it is going to is 750GB. Every time I go through the acronis 13 boot cd. It goes through the entire disk restore process and appears to be restoring the data to the new drive only to fail 5-10 seconds after the process starts stating. INDEX CORRUPT.

This happens with any backup set I try to use, and with 2 other PCs and 2 other 750GB HDDs.

Why is every fresh full backups being considered to be corrupt?

1. Boot from the bootable Rescue Media and try to validate the backups from there.

2. You cannot restore a backup to a different PC with different hardware. That would require the Plus Pack to do a Universal Restore, and you would have to add the drivers required for the new hardware.

I'd make a new backup and try validation immediately afterward. then try Tuttles suggestion. Just to narrow down where the prob is occuring-- in the making or the restore prog.
