50174: Bootable Media Created by Universal Boot Media Builder Contains Trial Version of Acronis True Image

Thread needs solution

Has there been any update to this known product issue? According to the website (https://kb.acronis.com/content/50174) as of December 2014 Acronis acknowledged there is a product issue and said developers are working to resolve it. I've yet to see any resolution.

I have been waiting for a fix for this issue since Dec 2014. It is not fixed in build 10.0.6613 that just came out (July 2015). In fact I get an error when I try to build a CD or .iso so I don't even get to the "Trial Version" comment.

There are lots of other ways to make a rescue CD but none work for my PC that is connected to a docking station and needs to get all the way up before it has a mouse or keyboard. This used to work way back in version 2013 but not since.

I don't think Acronis wants to fix the problem and have basically told me to find another product.
