Access Denied to Network Drive for saving backup

Thread needs solution

I am using a Buffalo Linkstation with a Drivestation attached via USB.

I am using TI2010 which i downloaded today (trial version) When I try to backup (either my primary c drive or any fodlers) to either my network drive or my usb drive I get an error message that I dont have enough privileges to perform the backup? what gives here?

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

When you map the drive, it becomes mapped only under your Windows account. Acronis True Image runs its tasks using the system account and so it is sometimes impossible to locate your mapped drive (especially when you are logged off). Please use the full UNC path (e.g. \\server\share\) instead of the mapped drive.
