Problem; Incremental backup of a file on a NAS device receives:
Access to the file or folder is denied. (0x40014)
Function = “WNetAddConnection3W”,filename=”\\Wdmycloud”
Acronis worked with no problems until Sunday, August 10, 2014.
Sunday, August 10 at 08:13:06 is when the problem started as far as I can tell. The backup then ran a couple of times successfully that day, but has continuously failed since August 11, 2014.
Logs are attached.
Folder to be backed up is \\Wdmycloud\NSD; backup location is on a drive on the PC with ATI 2014 installed.
Wdmycloud is a Western Digital 2TB NAS disk drive.
The PC is running Win7 professional, with all applicable maintenance, with Acronis True Image 2014.
There are no problems backing up files/folders or partitions from the PC to the wdmycloud with acronis.
I tried deleting the NSD folder on the wdmycloud, and then redefining the folded, got the same error.
Today. I tried backing up another folder on the wdmycloud with acronis to the PC, got the same error.
Any assistance appreciated
