Access Images over the network
I have Acronis True Image and I'd like to be able to store my images on a server and access them remotely over my network. When I boot from Acronis disk I am able to navigate to the server machine, find the location of my .tib files but when I open the folder, there are no files in there. When I open the network location on a pc through windows explorer I can see me .tib files. Does anyone know why I can't see them when I boot from Acronis?
It's weird because all the shared folders on the server come up right away but when you open any of those folders there are no files at all. I'll try waiting a little longer and see if the files eventually come up but for some reason I don't think that's going to happen. Thanks for the advice, I'll let you know what happens.
On second thought, all the images are between 1 and 7gb. You may be right. It may take longer for files that size to appear.
I just let is sit for like 10 mins but I still didn't see any .tib files under my image folder on the server. I then set it up to look at another shared folder on a second computer over the network and it worked. I figure there was maybe some kind of permissions setting I overlooked on the server. I then tried to restore an image again from the second computer (the one it worked on before) and now I am getting the same results as I am getting from the server. Any ideas?
