Accessing archived password protected admin user data of machine1 from other machines

Help...  I have years of archives from various WinXP and Win7 machines but can only access the protected "user" files from the machine that originally created the archive.  How do I change the permissions so that I can acccess the data from other networked machines.   I use the same administrator name on all of the machines.
