Accessing NTFS protected folders in images mounted by Acronis TrueImage 2010

Thread needs solution

Dear, today i've installed TrueImage on my pc and I've run a backup of my unit (windows xp-NTFS).
After installation of another operative system (windows 7) i've mounted the image by acronis utility.
So now i can access to my old hard disk (virtual hd) in read-only mode.
The problem is that i cannot access to the protected folders of windows like /Documents and Settings/user1... because i've not permission to read them.
If i try to change permission i cannot do it because the hard disk is a virtual hd.
How can I solve this problem???

Excuse me for my bad English. If you need other informations reply me.

Thanks!

Ernesto

You may need to mount the image in read-write mode so you can change the permission settings.
