ACHI still the bane of TI?

Thread needs solution

I was using TI11 when I found out I could not image my laptop because TI didn't understand ACHI. It found no drives booting with the CD. It seems this newer architecture has baffled TI devs, perhaps not all their fault--I don't know.

After I moved to TI 2009, things worked on my machine:

Vista 64
Gigabyte Extreme UD5 (Running is IDE, not ACHI mode).
RAID 0
Core 920.

I have now moved from my primary RAID 0 running in IDE mode to a new SSD, running in AHCI mode for TRIM support. Everything else is the same as above, except that I have moved to Win 7 Ultimate.

My question is will I be able to use 2009 in AHCI mode to image both the SSD and the RAID array, or will I need to upgrade and use the various workarounds to get alignment correct on the SSD and to image the RAID, now in AHCI mode?
